Here are some simple things you can do to get repeat traffic to your website. These are tips you can use so people will want to visit your site again and again. This will help you build credibility with peopleā¦help them get to know you better.
The more people/prospects that frequent your website, the better chance you have of selling them something or getting them to join your business opportunity.
If you’re a Network Marketer, Internet Marketer, or anyone trying to drive traffic to their website, this article should interest you.
1. Update the pages on your website frequently, at least once a month. Websites that go unchanged are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date counter on your home page to show when it was last updated.
2. Offer additional value on your website. If you want, find other affiliates/partners and place links to their sites on your site. Ask them to do the same for you. You can advertise their products (e-books, audios, videos etc.), if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with you.
3. You can create a web-form and have customers "opt-in" to get discounts and special offers. Also, you can place a link on your site which invites customers to opt-in for something special. For example, a cool training video, a free report, a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons.
4. Add a link to your home page with text that says "Book Mark This Site" or "Add This Site To Your Favorites".
5. You can add a link to your site that says "Recommend This Site To A Friend." Then the visitor can email your website link, with a message saying something like "Thought you might be interested in this". When the person clicks the link, it goes to your site.
6. Brand your website so that visitors always know they are on your site. For example, use consistent colors, logos, slogans and always provide a "Contact Us" link on each page.
7. If you want, you can create a "Our Policies" page on your site. This page can clearly define your business philosophy and your methods in dealing with customers. Explain things in simple terms. Make sure all your pages are easy to understand.
8. Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the concerns your customers may have. This will help to resolve most of your visitors doubts about your product, service or company. Also you can talk about the benefits of what you have to offer!
9. Make sure that each page of your website has good titles and keywords. Make your site is easy to navigate…easy for people to find the information they need.
10. Use one or more inspirational quotations on your website. You can change them every day, every week, or no later than every month. Find quotes from politicians, coaches, actors, athletes, business gurus, motivational speakers etc. If you want to, create your own.
11. Never spam a customer with unsolicited emails. For example, if someone decides they want to "opt out" of your mailing list, be sure you honor their request and take them off it. They may come back someday. But they will probably never come back if you flood their email box with messages they no longer want to receive.
