As I’ve said before, I and many others believe Network Marketing is the best business in the world. It really is. Network Marketing offers almost anyone the opportunity to make a lot of money, buy your time back and help others at the same time!

But as you know by now, most people HATE SELLING. They hate making a list, bugging their family and friends, cold calling people, talking to strangers and buying leads.

People hate criticism and rejection. But understand this…YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT SOME STRUGGLES AND FAILURES! Just keep moving forward…go after your dreams.

I know you want to be successful. You want to build a big downline. You want results!

SO THE QUESTION IS- WHO ARE YOUR BEST PROSPECTS??? Who are the people most likely to be interested in your business?

In our case, our primary target market is other Network Marketers. We want people who are currently involved in, or have been involved in Network Marketing before. Or at the very least, people who are open-minded to trying Network Marketing.

WHY??? Because these people understand and believe in the MLM business model. They get it, they know it works! They understand what a monthly auto-ship is. They understand what residual income is. They’re trying to change their lifestyle…they WANT to succeed!

So, if you want to build a REALLY SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS with the least amount of stress…go after your target market! Trust me, it will make your life much easier and you’ll make much more money!!!

And now you’re probably asking- How do I find these people? How do I find quality prospects? Use really popular social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Youtube etc. Participate in forums like BetterNetworker.com, WarriorForum.com etc.

These types of websites are interactive…meaning you can send and receive messages, leave comments and even get involved in groups. 

Learn about Attraction Marketing and Personal Branding, and use these skills when you do your Internet Marketing.

Don’t just blatantly advertise your specific MLM opportunity. Remember, most of your prospects are already in one. With few exceptions, you’ll just be wasting your time.

You want to promote your LEADERSHIP and/or MARKETING skills. People don’t join business opportunities, they join people! You must show them that YOU are someone worth following.

Also, people want to know that YOU have a great marketing system. You must show them you have a system that will help them build their businesses. Meaning…getting leads, new distributors, new customers and making money!

This is why a Funded Proposal is so cool. You start out by selling a great information product/course to your target market. That gets your foot in the door. It allows you to start building a relationship with the prospect. It allows you to build up your list. Also, it allows you to make some instant cash!

And YES, you should still go after people in your warm market. These are the men and women you already know. But, if you hate selling this should not your main focus.
